Wii Sports Boxing is Better Than Wii Fit's Rhythmic Boxing

Boxing is a great source of burning calories. Many physical fitness gurus are incorporating some form of boxing into their fitness routines. You can not work up a sweat with Wii Fit's rhythmic boxing. The exercise routine in the video game is bogged down with too much explanation. Try using the boxing in Wii Sports. It will help you burn off more calories. The key is to throw as many punches as you can at your opponent and to move your torso from right to left as frequently as you can. I am sure that if the rhythmic boxing in Wii Fit was to give you a real work out, you could burn the calories quickly, but the game does too much explaining about what punches and in what order the punches should be thrown.

With the boxing in Wii Sports, what it lacks in realism, it more than makes up for in pure physical energy. I find that the boxing in Wii Sports is slow to react to many of the punches that I throw, it only seems to catch about 66% of the punches I throw. This is ok, because I am using it for exercising, if I was trying to win all my boxing matches, I might be upset. I will use it for thirty to thirty-five minutes and then I will switch to the training sessions in the game. The training sessions are great, because using the bag, I can punch as fast as I can.

The second training session, is when your trainer is throwing balls at you and you, the boxer having to avoid the balls. This is a great exercise for trimming the waist line. While the Wii Fit is great for helping you to burn calories, Wii Sports is more efficient at some of the calorie burning exercises.
